Ather Energy is an electric scooter manufacturer that was founded in 2013 (10 years ago) with its headquarters in Karnataka, India. The private company is one of India’s largest electric two-wheeler manufacturers, and its portfolio of scooters include the Ather 450S, Ather 450X and Ather 450X Pro.
As reported by CNN, Ather Energy’s CEO confirmed that sales and revenue at the company are skyrocketing, citing that the company currently manufactures a brand-new scooter every 90 seconds. Comparing the sales to that of 3 years ago when they sold about 200 e-scooters monthly, they now sell about 15,000 e-scooters monthly, a 7400% increase in sales.
This shows the growing demand for electric powered vehicles.
