Credit Commercial de France To Layoff 1,200

Crédit Commercial de France is a commercial bank in France, headquartered in Paris and founded in 1894 as the Banque Suisse et Française, and renamed to CCF in 1917. Asa of 1920, it had grown to be the sixth-largest bank in the country and is currently backed by Cerberus Capital Management.

According to reports, CCF has announced plans to lay off around 1,000 to 1,200 employees as part of a restructuring initiative aimed at streamlining operations.

The report further mentions that it also plans to close about 90 to 110 branches across the country to improve efficiency and competitiveness as it returns to the path of sustainable growth.
