Tesla has issued a recall of 870 imported vehicles in China due to defective roofs, with insufficient primer that could fall off in extreme cases during driving, posing a safety hazard.
According to reports, affected vehicles include the Tesla Model X produced between March and July 2016. Tesla will inspect the recalled vehicles and test the adhesion on the roof trim panel, and will replace or fix the roof trim panel free of charge.
Earlier this month, Incognito blog reported Tesla’s recall of 9,136 vehicles over similar issues.
