John Deere To Layoff 600

Deere & Company, also known as John Deere, is an American corporation founded in 1837 and headquartered in Moline, Illinois. It is a manufacturer of agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, construction equipment, as well as parts and services.

According to reports, John Deere has announced plans to lay off 600 employees across 3 factories in the United States due to a decline in demand for farm equipment.

The report further mentions that effective from August 30, 2024, affected workers will be let go, as the company plans to shift production to a new facility in Ramos, Mexico.
