Dell Technologies Inc. is an American multinational technology company. It is headquartered in Round Rock, Texas and was established in 2016 after a merger with the EMC Corporation. Dell’s products include personal computers, servers, monitors, computer software, etc.
According to reports, Dell has announced plans to lay off 6,000 employees in a bid to cut costs due to low demand for its personal computers in the last 2 years. The report further states that the company expects its input costs to increase and warns that there will still be revenue declines in other segments of its businesses as a result of a change in its commercial relationship with VMware Inc.
