According to recent reports, 2,253 Kg of Cocaine worth about $165 million USD was confiscated on a large ship named MV Matthew, off the coast of Cork in southeast Ireland. The report states that the drugs came from South America and were heading to Ireland, and the United Kingdom. This is reportedly the largest seizure in Ireland’s history.
