Oracle: $6.5 Billion Cloud Investment In Malaysia

Oracle Corporation is an American multinational computer technology company founded in 1977 and headquartered in Austin, Texas. It specializes in database software and cloud computing. As of 2020, it was the third-largest software company in the world by revenue and market capitalization.

According to reports, Oracle has announced plans to invest $6.5 billion USD to set up its first public cloud region in Malaysia to boost the country’s digital economy and drive AI innovations.

The report further mentions that the public cloud region will help organizations as well as government agencies in Malaysia modernize their applications, migrate their workloads to the cloud, and innovate with data, analytics, and AI, positioning the country as a hub for technological advancement.
