Life & Immigration: 18

I am not trying to form this habit of publishing this late, I promise, I just get caught up with the day to day of running and working for a company that’s growing exponentially on a fronts. This post should have been published in July 2024, just like the previous episode should have been in June 2024, but here we are, better late than never.

July 2024 was splendid as usual – Nothing spectacular, just being alive is enough for everyday to be a good day. When there’s life, there’s hope. We went to the beach with some friends and got into an accident that wasn’t a fault of ours, the car was slightly damaged but no one was hurt, thankfully. The funny twist to this accident was that the driver that hit our vehicle thought it would be a good idea to give us wrong contact information. I wasn’t bothered about this because I knew for a fact that being in a civilized country, tracking down such cases would be easy – long story short, we pulled up to their house.

I was also at a nice restaurant with E, and decided to try some lobster sauce – I hated it and told the waiter since it was based on their recommendation. From now on, I have decided to stick to my steak and pasta, like a regular person. In other interesting news, July 2024 saw me coordinate my team to attain a new company record, it’s phenomenal. And to the most delightful news from the month, it was mom’s birthday this month and you trust us to celebrate life. I couldn’t attend her dinner since I’m miles away but she had a good one with the rest of the clan, which is all that matters.

Until next time, Happy New Month.
