In March 2023, Incognito Blog announced the launch of Google’s artificial intelligence generative chat-based tool, Bard, a direct competition to OpenAI’s ChatGPT. The Bard experiment as it is referred to on the official website, is gradually being rolled out to different regions with feature updates trickling in progressively.
According to recent reports, the AI chatbot has been equipped with the ability to interact with customers real time data on other Google services like Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc. The report further mentions the option to easily double check responses received from Bard, using an inbuilt google search button shortened as G.
Google reportedly claims that customer data (Gmail etc.) will not be used to train Bard’s AI language models.
