According to reports, Akamai has announced the acquisition of Noname Security for $450 Million USD. This acquisition deal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024 and will strengthen Akamai’s cybersecurity market and integrate Noname into its API Security business as it expects to deliver approximately $20 million USD of revenue in its fiscal year 2024.
The report further mentions that the combination of Noname with Akamai’s API Security offering will provide protection and solutions for any type of customer. Noname’s 200 employees will be joining Akamai as part of the deal.
