Happy thanksgiving to everyone celebrating today across the globe (11/28). This month I was in Punta Cana for a week spending time with E, hiding from the cold weather, celebrating love, friendship, partnership, and everything in between with E. This island reminded me of Nigeria because of the heat. I am also grateful when I’m able to make time for these trips because as hard workers, we tend to stay laser focused most of the time and it’s very important to pause and take a walk by the beach on an island.
The past 6+ months have been work, work, work, and it paid off for me and my org. I probably spoke about my promotion in a previous issue of this series but it’s been an exciting kind of growth in the company, so I am rooting for their success and working hard to get them there, hence the excitement and repetition. Recently, we surpassed double the amount of hardware installed across the company’s fleet and I was a key player that helped achieve this within 8 months. That is very impressive if I do say so myself.
E took me to an antique store today, we looked around and realized that we’re very modern people because we didn’t pick anything from a store with 3 floors of old items, very surprising, but maybe the second/third time would be the charm.
