Nissan has announced plans to invest in ChargeScape, a leading electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and integrate the company’s charging technology into its electric vehicles in the United States and Canada.
According to reports, after the transition Nissan will own a 25% stake in the company, becoming an equal investor in the joint venture alongside BMW, Ford, and Honda.
The report further mentions that this investment is aimed at a strategy on the company’s bi-directional charging technology offered on its Leaf EV as ChargeScape provides software and technology to optimize EV battery charging.
