Microsoft has announced plans to invest $4.8 billion USD over the next two years to strengthen its artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure in northern Italy.
According to reports, this investment will boost Italy’s digital economy and establish the country as a major hub for AI and cloud services in the Mediterranean region.
The report further mentions that the company plans to create one of the largest data centers in Europe, as this investment is the company’s largest in Italy.
