Vertical Bridge: $3.3 Billion Tower Infrastructure Deal

Vertical Bridge LLC, is the largest private owner and operator of communications infrastructure and locations in the United States. It was founded in 2014 and headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.

According to reports, Vertical Bridge has announced plans to buy thousands of mobile phone towers from Verizon Communications, in a deal valued at $3.3 billion USD, with an upfront payment of $2.8 billion USD, to enhance its network in the United States.

The report further mentions that the deal is expected to close at the end of 2024, and it covers 6,339 towers across all 50 U.S. states and Washington D.C. The towers will be leased back to Verizon for 10 years, with an option to extend the term up to 50 years.
