Alphabet: $3.3 Billion Data Center Investment

Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has announced plans to invest $3.3 billion USD to build two new data centers in Dorchester County, South Carolina, and expand its existing data center in Berkeley County.

According to reports, the facilities in Dorchester County will receive an investment of $2 billion USD and will create 200 new operational jobs, while the expansion of the Berkeley County facility will receive $1.3 billion USD.

The report further mentions that these investments in infrastructure are aimed at the growing demand and support for the development of artificial intelligence technologies.
