Apollo Global Management, Inc. is an American asset management firm founded in 1990 and headquartered in New York City. It provides investment management services like private equity, credit, real assets, etc. As of 2022, the company had $548 billion USD of assets under management.
According to reports, Apollo has announced plans to invest $5 billion USD in Intel to boost the company’s financial position following a 60% decline in Intel’s stock since the start of the year.
The report further mentions that the proposal is still being evaluated and the size of the investment could change. Qualcomm is also considering the acquisition of Intel, but negotiations are still in the early stages.
