McLaren To Recall 1,012 Vehicles

McLaren is a British sports car manufacturer founded in 1963 and headquartered in Woking, England. It is a subsidiary of McLaren Group and is involved in Formula One, motorsport, as well as technology and innovations.

According to reports, the company has issued a recall of 1,012 vehicles due to an issue with the hood latch that could unexpectedly open while driving. The hood latch could strike the windshield and obstruct the driver’s visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Affected vehicles include its Grand Tourer (GT) models assembled between 2019 and 2023. Dealers will replace the faulty hood latch with a longer cable and an updated loop cable release method, with notification letters scheduled to be sent to owners in due course.
