Porsche has issued a recall of 954 vehicles due to a software issue with the headlight control module.
According to reports, incorrect software may have been installed, which could cause the parking lights to not operate as intended when the turn signals are activated. This can make the car less visible and potentially increase the risk of a crash.
Affected vehicles include 2024 Porsche Taycan models. The company will update the headlight control module software free of charge, with notification letters scheduled to be sent to owners in November 2024.
In June 2024, Incognito blog reported the recall of 31,689 Taycan hybrid electric vehicles due to faulty brakes.
