Envision Energy is a Chinese multinational corporation founded in 2007 and headquartered in Shanghai. It develops, manufactures, and operates wind turbines and energy management software, as well as batteries for Honda, Nissan, and Renault.
According to reports, Envision has announced plans to build a factory in Spain that manufactures machinery and equipment for green hydrogen production valued at $1 billion USD to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the region.
The report further mentions that the company will start building the factory that will produce electrolysers—the machinery separating hydrogen from water—by June 2026. Green hydrogen is a type of hydrogen fuel that is produced using renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, to split water molecules (H2O) into hydrogen and oxygen. This process is called electrolysis.
