Tower Semiconductor Ltd. is an Israeli company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Migdal Haemek, Israel. It manufactures integrated circuits using specialty process technologies for a wide range of applications.
According to reports, Tower Semiconductor and Adani Group have announced plans for a joint investment of $10.01 billion USD in a semiconductor project in India’s western state of Maharashtra, to boost the country’s semiconductor industry capabilities.
The report further mentions that two new electric vehicle manufacturing units will be set up in the state, with investments from Skoda-Volkswagen and Toyota-Kirloskar.
