Dubai, the cosmopolitan city in the United Arab Emirates, is set to add yet another world-class building to its skyline. The Burj Azizi tower will become the world’s second tallest building after its completion in 2028.
According to reports, the 131-story skyscraper stands at 725 meters high, located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai’s World Trade Center district, 103 meters shorter than the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa at 828 meters. It will feature a seven-star hotel, a seven-floor “vertical” shopping mall, and luxury residences and is being developed by Azizi Development.
The report further mentions that the tower will set several records for the world’s highest nightclub on level 126, the world’s highest observation deck on level 130, and the record for Dubai’s highest restaurant on the 122nd floor, among others. Investment in the project has surpassed $1.6 billion USD, with apartments set to go on sale in 2025.
