According to reports, HP has been awarded a $50 million USD investment by the United States Department of Commerce to support the expansion and modernization of its facility in Oregon to boost key semiconductor technologies.
The report further mentions that the investment will help HP advance its microfluidics and microelectromechanical systems technology, as well as the manufacturing of silicon devices critical in life sciences lab equipment.
