Saudi Arabia has partnered with China Energy Engineering to build a solar power plant in the country valued at $972 million USD.
According to reports, the 2-gigawatt (GW) photovoltaic plant will be built by a joint venture between China Energy Engineering and Saudi partners, sovereign fund PIF, ACWA Power, and Saudi Aramco Power Company. The construction is expected to take 31 months to complete as the kingdom moves towards renewable energy sources
