Dell To Layoff 12,500

Dell Technologies Inc. the American multinational technology company has announced plans to lay off 12,500 employees, which amounts to 10% of its workforce.

According to reports, this is part of a sales reorganization as the company plans on becoming a leaner company and streamlining layers of management. The layoffs will affect sales, marketing, and engineering teams.

The report further mentions that Dell plans to focus more on the development of modern IT and AI as reasons for the layoffs. In March, Incognito Blog reported Dell’s plan to lay off 6,000 employees as part of a cost-cutting initiative.
