Toyota has issued a remedy for 102,092 vehicles that have debris from the manufacturing process that may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, resulting in a loss of drive power.
According to reports, Toyota will replace the engines of the affected Tundra and Lexus LX600 vehicles produced between 2021-2023 free of charge. Notification letters will be sent to owners by the end of July.
In June, Incognito blog reported the recall of 102,092 Tundra and Lexus LX600 vehicles over possible debris in the engine.
