WhatsApp, the instant messaging application, has introduced a new feature called ‘Favorites’ that allows users to quickly access their most frequently contacted people and groups.
The report further mentions that WhatsApp has also added a “Favorites” section to the calls tab to speed-dial your favorite contacts as well as the top of your chat screen. Users will be able to add contacts to the ‘Favorites’ filter by tapping and selecting the contacts or groups to add to the Favorites list. Added contacts will automatically show on the calls tab when added.
Users can also remove contacts from their Favorites list at any time by swiping left on their name and tapping “Remove.”
