Toyota has issued a recall of 145,000 vehicles due to problems with the airbag. According to reports, the curtain airbag on the driver’s side may not deploy properly during certain crashes if the driver’s side window is rolled down, potentially increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Affected vehicles include 2024 Lexus TX and Toyota Grand Highlander SUVs.
Toyota is currently developing a remedy for this issue, with notification letters scheduled to be sent in August 2024.
