A series of wildfires has resulted in significant damage in Gorman, a community northwestern of Los Angeles County. The Post fire, as it has been called, started over the weekend and has since destroyed 15,610 acres of land, with only 20% contained as of Monday.
According to the report, over 1,200 people have been evacuated and 2 commercial buildings destroyed. The Hungry Valley Park and Pyramid Lake have been closed as a result of the fire, with thousands of people under evacuation advisories.
About 400 firefighters, as well as helicopters, bulldozers, and 50 fire engines, have been sent to the scene to contain the fire.
