Microsoft To Layoff 1,500

Microsoft has announced plans to lay off 1500 employees in its Azure cloud unit as part of a restructuring initiative.

This restructuring plan will allow Microsoft to cut costs as well as focus on AI development and invest in strategic growth areas. The layoffs will affect Azure for Operators and Mission Engineering teams.

In January, Incognito blog reported that Microsoft plans to lay off 1,900 employees in its gaming divisions, Activision Blizzard and Xbox.
