Microsoft has announced plans to invest $3.2 billion USD in Sweden to improve its cloud and Artificial Intelligence infrastructure over the next 2 years.
This investment deal will provide 20,000 sophisticated graphics processing units to Sandviken, Gävle, and Staffanstorp data centers and will train 250,000 Swedes in AI capabilities by 2027.
The report further mentions that Microsoft has acquired approximately 1 gigawatt of Swedish renewable energy to power its data centers and increase its capacity.
