The Campbell Soup Company, also known as Campbell’s, is an American company founded in 1869 and headquartered in Camden, New Jersey. The company produces canned soup products, baked goods, beverages, and snacks. It is one of the largest processed food companies in the United States.
According to reports, Campbell’s has announced plans to lay off 415 employees as part of a cost-cutting initiative. The company is shutting down its plant in Tualatin, Oregon, and reducing staff at Jeffersonville and Indiana site.
The report further mentions that Campbell’s will make a capital investment of $230 million USD through 2026, which is expected to create 210 new roles across the company.
