Lamborghini Recalls 2,133 Vehicles

Lamborghini has issued a recall of 2,133 vehicles because the hood may open while driving. According to the notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), small gaps may form between the hood and front bumper when the vehicle is at high speed and can cause the separated hood latch to open and increase the risk of a crash or road hazard.

Affected vehicles include the 2023-2024 Lamborghini Urus Performante and Urus S Models. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified and instructed to contact an authorized Lamborghini dealer. Dealers will inspect the hood and repair it if necessary and/or install a striker support plate free of charge.

Notification letters are scheduled to be sent in June 2024.
