Microsoft has announced plans to invest $4.3 billion USD in France to boost its artificial intelligence and cloud computing sector in the country.
The investment deal is expected to be completed by 2027 and will involve the deployment of 25,000 of the most advanced graphics processing units (GPUs) by the end of 2025, as well as maintaining industry-leading sustainability standards in the running of its facilities.
The report further mentions that Microsoft will also fund the training of 1 million people and support 2,500 AI startups by 2027.
