Rivian, the company that specializes in electric SUVs and pickup trucks, has announced plans to lay off 1% of its workforce due to slower demand in electric vehicles as it aims to reduce costs. The company has also shut down its production line for an upgrade to increase efficiency and meet its end-of-year quota.
In February, the Incognito blog reported 10% layoffs of Rivian’s workforce.
