Hyundai has issued a recall of 28,439 vehicles in the United States of America due to a defect in the engine section. The report mentions that the oil leak could lead to a fire in the affected vehicles engine area. The vehicles that are being recalled include the 2018 – 2020 Genesis G80, 2017 – 2022 Genesis G90, and 2019 – 2022 Genesis G70 models.
In recent similar events, Incognito Blog reported the recall of almost 170,000 Hyundai and Kia electric vehicles in South Korea. The reports on the USA recall do not provide a timeline nor a date for affected owners to bring in their vehicles for a fix.
