Accenture plc is an Irish-American company that specializes in information technology (IT) services and consulting. It was founded in 1989 with its headquarters in Dublin. Accenture was the largest consulting firm in the world by number of employees as of 2022.
According to reports, Accenture has announced plans to acquire the online learning platform Udacity, in an effort to build a learning platform focused on Artificial Intelligence. This deal will expand its reach and enable Udacity to become a part of a larger enterprise.
Accenture is also investing $1 billion USD to build a technology learning platform called LearnVantage aimed at training people in cloud, data, and Artificial Intelligence.
