Toyota Recalls 280,000 Vehicles

Toyota has announced a recall of 280,000 vehicles in the United States due to a transmission problem that can result in cars rolling forward while in neutral and no brakes are applied, which can increase the risk of a crash. The vehicles affected include: 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra, Sequoia, and Lexus LX 600 models.

The report further mentions that Toyota and Lexus dealers will update the software for the transmission free of charge, with notification letters scheduled to be sent at the end of April 2024.
