Samsung and Tesla have announced a partnership that will enable both companies offer their customers a seamless technology powered experience. This collaboration will allow Samsung’s SmartThings platform connect to Tesla’s Powerwall, Solar Inverters, and Electric Vehicles, giving users the ability to monitor their energy consumption and storage capacities.
According to the report by Samsung, Tesla customers will have the ability to control their grid connectivity across both the Tesla application and Samsung’s SmartThings app, leveraging Tesla’s FleetAPI. On January 5 2024, Incognito Blog reported a similar partnership between Samsung and Hyundai.
This new technology with Tesla is set to be released in the second quarter of 2024.
