Unity game engine supports a variety of desktop, mobile, console, and virtual reality platforms. The company is also known for iOS and Android mobile game development.

Some games that have been developed using Unity’s engine include Cuphead, Ori and the Blind Forest.

According to recent reports, Unity has announced its plans to lay off around 1,800 of its employees in a bid to restructure its core business and position itself for long-term profitable growth, and improved financial performance after a difficult year.
