Jubilee syringe manufacturing company, owned by a Turkish national, was established in 2017 with headquarters in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. It is considered Africa’s largest syringe manufacturing company.
According to recent reports, JSM announced a halt in operations in Nigeria due to the negative impact of the current economic conditions on foreign USD-denominated companies and the high cost of import duties.
The report further mentions that the company intends to reopen stronger and better in the future. Last year, Incognito Blog reported that GSK also halted direct operations in Nigeria, indicating a shift in their approach to the country’s market.
