Xiaomi Corporation, commonly known as Xiaomi, is the second-largest manufacturer of smartphones in the world. The company specializes in consumer electronics, home appliances, automobiles, and household hardware. It was founded in 2010 and has its headquarters in Haidian District, Beijing, China.
According to recent reports, Xiaomi has revealed its first electric vehicle, the SU7 sedan. The EV will run on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS, which is supposed to be dynamic enough to power everything, including phones, smart home systems, and cars. It boasts of a 500 mile range on a single charge and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds.
The SU7 comes equipped with autonomous driving technology called the Xiaomi Pilot Autonomous Driving, and is expected to roll out in China next year.
