Dublin: $8.6 Million Heroin Seized

Dublin, the largest city and capital of Ireland, is located in the province of Leinster. It is bordered to the south by the Dublin Mountains, which are part of the Wicklow Mountains range. Dublin City and its suburbs boast of a population of 1.2 million residents as of 2022.

Heroin, also known as diacetylmorphine and diamorphine, is a white or brown powder derived from the sap of poppy plants. It acts as an analgesic drug and is primarily used as a recreational substance due to its highly addictive and potentially dangerous euphoric effects.
