Riverside LNG, a Nigerian liquified natural gas exploration and sustainable energy company has entered into an agreement with German company, Johannes Schuetze Energy, to export about 850,000 tons of natural gas to Germany annually, with the initial phase scheduled for 2026.
According to reports, a memorandum of understanding was also signed by Union Bank of Nigeria and DWS Group, a German asset management company, to facilitate a $500 million USD investment in renewable energy in rural regions across Nigeria.
These strategic partnerships aim to strengthen economic ties between both countries.
