The new Fontainebleau hotel is a luxury 3,644 room resort that is located on the Las Vegas strip. Development plans for this building started in 2000 when the land was supposedly purchased, and was paused for a few years due to factors including economic recession.
The building is 68 stories high and is reportedly one of the tallest in Nevada, USA.
The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the sister hotel to Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Florida, that was opened in 1954. The $3.7 billion USD resort boasts of 7 pools, 4 bars, 2 restaurants, a 150,000+ square feet casino and more. This new edifice is a worthy addition to the already buzzing Las Vegas where a $2.3 billion USD event center was opened in July 2023.
The cost of staying at the Fontainebleau ranges from $300 to $5,000 per night, and the opening date is reportedly scheduled for December 13 2023.
