In July 2023 Elon launched an AI company x.ai. On November 5 2023, the company announced a conversational artificial intelligent chat bot, Grok, a direct ChatGPT rival. The bot will provide witty responses using data from the X API and boasts of having access to real time data and information unlike the limited ChatGPT free version.
