According to recent reports, Automattic has acquired texts.com for $50 million USD to further increase its product offerings. Texts is an all-in-one messaging platform that brings users direct messages (DMs) to a single inbox. The company currently offers integrations with applications like iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Messenger, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Slack and Discord DMs.
