Ltd, is a multinational electronics contract manufacturer founded in 1974, with its headquarters in New Taipei, Taiwan. Foxconn specializes in manufacturing various electronic products including the iPhone, BlackBerry, PlayStation, Kindle, Google Pixel, Microsoft’s Xbox, Sega, and Nokia devices etc.
The company’s factories manufactured about 40% of all consumer electronics worldwide, as of 2012, bringing their annual revenue to $214 billion USD.
According to recent reports, Nvidia and Foxconn have announced a partnership to build a new data centre that utilizes Nvidia chips to power advanced AI applications. The new AI Factory will also include the development of a robotics platform, training large language models, and autonomous vehicles.
