Tesla Welcomes BMW to EV Superchargers

BMW Group has announced that its electric vehicles (EVs) in the United States of America (USA) and Canada will adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS), and owners of BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce EVs will have access to designated Tesla Superchargers, starting in 2025.

According to the report, this partnership is in a bid create more accessible EV chargers to BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce vehicle owners. Tesla’s superchargers has also been adopted by other EV manufacturers like Hyundai, Mercedes, etc. The announcement further mentions that this agreement is independent of BMW’s partnership with 6 other vehicle manufacturers to produce a universal charging network.
