LinkedIn, the social media network for business and professional relationships, has announced an additional job cut that would affect about 688 employees across various departments like engineering, product, finance, etc. The company said the layoffs are necessary to adapt to the organizational structure changes, and to streamline their decision-making process.
In May 2023, LinkedIn also announced the layoffs of 716 employees, as reported by Incognito Blog. The job cuts earlier this year also saw the social media platform exit China due to challenging macroeconomic factors that hindered positive growth.
