Lucid Group or Lucid Motors, also known as Lucid, is an electric vehicle automotive company that specializes in manufacturing luxury sports cars and performance vehicles. Lucid vehicles are primarily built in Arizona with the company’s headquarters located in California, USA. The EV company was founded in 2007.
According to recent reports, Lucid has opened its first international electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing facility, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The report further mentions that the new Advanced Manufacturing Plant (AMP-2) is supposedly going to have an initial annual build capacity of 5,000 vehicles with the potential of rising to 155,000 vehicles per annum, creating employment opportunities for Saudi nationals and driving local talent. This is reportedly the country’s first car manufacturing plant.
